Maintenance Technician

To perform a variety of tasks as directed by the Dining Room Manager. Sets and clears tables in their station. Delivers food to residents and guests from the kitchen in a timely, efficient, friendly fashion. Serves food to residents where applicable. May help set up, decorate and serve the Vi Breakfast. Services periodic coffee breaks, private parties, and refreshment stations as directed by the Dining Room Manager.

DUTIES

1. Complete side work.
2. Banquet set-up.
3. Help monitor service in the Dining Room.
4. Close the Dining Room and Kitchen.
5. Assist in training of new staff.
6. Executive special cleaning tasks as assigned by the Dining Room Manager.
7. Explain the menu items to the residents and answer any questions they may have.
8. Take food orders, present to the kitchen in the prescribed fashion and deliver the mean to residents and guests in the proper manner.
9. Clean and reset tables to prepare for additional residents.
10. Deliver food to apartment bound residents and retrieve the respective dirty dishes.
11. Perform basic bartending tasks (if 21 years of age), as needed during cocktail hour.
12. All other duties as assigned by the Dining Room Manager.
